Provided with the right tools, guidance, and opportunities, they would not only face their respective challenges but emerge as capable leaders fitted with life skills. Thus, under the patronage of the Jobin Singh Chandi Trust, USA, comes this Mentorship and Development Programme to unlock this potential through mentorship, skill development, and education to make sure the change is from within.
Why Mentorship and Development Matter to Youth
Most of the youths within society are underprivileged due to certain resource or mentorship issues. Other than through parents or guardians, direction and growth tend to go astray when there are no role models and opportunities for the building of important skills are not created. The Jobin Chandi Trust Mentorship and Development Program offers guidance in those areas where such needs arise, enabling the youth to unlock their hidden potential by believing in themselves.
Program Components
Our program encompasses everything the youths may need, from personal to professional, and are thus assured that through us their needs will be catered for in the following areas:
Mentoring One-on-One : Our mentors guide, support, and inspire in goal setting, building confidence and making knowledgeable decisions about academics, career choices, and life skills.
Education Support and Tutoring : We provide tutoring and academic support that empowers them to excel and attend higher education with the security of success.
Skill-Building Workshops : Through workshops, these young men and women develop communication, critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, public speaking, and digital literacy skills, teaching them how to manage their finances in preparation for personal and professional success.
Career Exposure and Internship Opportunities : We provide career counseling and internships that enable the youth to get practical exposure in areas of interest that could provide a competitive edge in their future careers.
Youth Leadership Programs : Leadership programs raise responsible and confident youths able to grow into leadership positions and contribute positively towards societal growth.
Community Involvement/Volunteer Opportunities : The Community Engagement Programme fosters a sense of social responsibility, empathy, teamwork, and belonging through service to others.

Maria’s Story: From Shy to Star : Maria, a high school student from Chicago, was built through one-on-one mentorship and tutoring at Jobin Chandi Trust. She now desires to study psychology as a freshman at college.
Skills and Dreams Being Built in the City of Atlanta : Jamal, an Atlanta teen who found direction through our Digital Literacy and Money Management Workshops. He wants to be a software developer now.
